Illustration; The Englishman

The Englisman. Just one of those characters.

Collage; The Dollhouse

This collage project was one of the most fun and inspiring I have done. I started with exploring my mother´s dollhouse and all kinds of odd characters elbowed their way into this strange place...It eventually resulted in an exhibition at the Art-Mirall Gallery in Barcelona back in 2006.

Here is a little taste of my current project. At the moment I am preparing the illustrations for the Swedish author Elisa Melin´s upcoming collection of limericks she has written over the years. I think it will be a quite quirky little book.

Illustration; Exhibition "10 artists" at Untitled Gallery, Barcelona

In this work I played with the idea of masculine beauty that prevailed among the European noblemen during the 18th century. I wished to explore the harmony that can be found when intertwining the masculine with the feminine.
The works were a part of the exhibition "10 artists" at the Untitled gallery in Barcelona in October 2010.

Children´s book illustrations: The Piggy Bank

In 2006 I did a series of children´s book illustrations for Mizar Multimedia/Grupo Planeta in Barcelona.   http://www.mizarmultimedia.com/index.htm
They were included in the children´s encyclopedia Hoobs English. Here is a  cute little sequence I prepared for instructing small people on how to make their own piggy bank:

Inflate a baloon.
Tear up a newspaper.
Stick the newspaper strips to the baloon.

Remove the baloon from the inside.
Make nose and tail for your piggy with eggcartons.
Paint your pig.
Ask an adult to help you cut a hole at the top.
Start saving money!

Cool graffitti I saw in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Rio de Janeiro is, like Barcelona,a really good place to contemplate weird and wonderful street-art. Here is a taste of an interesting creation I stumbled upon in the Leblon neighbourhood.
